New address for the Seattle Housing Authority

The Seattle Housing Authority has combined its administrative, voucher assistance, and many property management services into a single location on Lower Queen Anne.

New Office Location

Our new address is:

190 Queen Anne Ave North, Seattle, WA 98109-1028

Please change our information in your records. Most staff phone numbers will remain the same. Admission services for Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) and Low Income Public Housing will be located at this address. Our Post Office box number will remain the same.

South Bound Metro bus routes on Queen Anne Avenue North: 1, 2, 8, 13, 15, 18, 81, 994

North Bound Metro bus routes on First Avenue North: 15, 17, 18, 19, 24, and 33

East-West Bound Metro bus routes on Denny Way: 1, 2, 8, 13, 15, 18, 30, 81

Expanded Metro RapidRide Bus Service is expected to begin serving this neighborhood as early as September 30, 2012.

Parking

Metered street parking is available around the building. There are also several paid lots close to the building.

Driving directions

From southbound Interstate 5

  • Take the Denny Way Exit (#166) and go west on Denny Way
  • Continue west for about two miles
  • Turn right on 1st Avenue
  • Turn left on John Street
  • The building is on your left at the corner of John Street & Queen Anne Avenue North

From northbound Interstate 5

  • Take the Seneca St Exit (#165) into Downtown Seattle
  • Turn right onto 1st Avenue
  • Continue on 1st Avenue for just over a mile one block north of Denny Way
  • Turn left on John Street
  • The building is on your left at the corner of John & Queen Anne Avenue North

From southbound Highway 99

  • Exit to Denny Way
  • Turn right at stoplight onto Denny Way and go west about nine blocks
  • Turn right on 1st Avenue North
  • Turn left on John Street
  • The building is on your left at the corner of John & Queen Anne Avenue North

From northbound Highway 99

  • Drive through the Battery Street Tunnel and move to the right
  • Turn right onto Harrison Street and go one block
  • Turn right onto Dexter Ave North and go one-quarter of a mile to Denny Way
  • Turn right onto Denny Way and go nine blocks
  • Turn right on 1st Avenue North
  • Turn left at the next block on John Street
  • The building is on your left at the corner of John & Queen Anne Avenue North

From Magnolia, Ballard, Queen Anne

  • Drive south on 15th Ave West , which becomes Elliott Avenue West
  • Turn left at West Thomas Street
  • Turn right on Queen Anne Avenue North
  • The building is one block south on the left
