Lake City Court provides 86 apartments for low-income residents on a 1.8-acre site rich with urban conveniences and services. With an emphasis on energy-efficiency and livability, the new apartment building conforms to the highest standards of green building.

Located in a pedestrian-friendly urban hub, it has services and retail within easy walking distance. There are excellent transit connections in the neighborhood, including onestop express bus service to downtown and ten additional bus lines.

The Lake City Court site itself contains many amenities for residents including community gardens with a tool shed, a playground, and a barbecue and picnic area that is shared with residents from the adjacent Lake City House. An on-site
management office houses social services staff to assist residents with job readiness and educational access. A technology center managed by Children’s Home Society provides a dozen
computers and computer literacy classes for the community.
