Computer Access

Seattle Housing Authority and its partners operate five computer technology centers located in communities throughout the city.

Neighborhood House: Rainier Vista Center

The Computer Technology Lab at Neighborhood House's Rainier Vista Center offers free classes in computer skills, ESL services, help in locating online community resources and information, and software for children's school assignments.

Special Technology Access Resource (STAR) Center

The STAR Center is located in the Center Park public housing community and provides residents with disabilities access to specialized training and technology. The lab is available free of charge and is open to the public. The STAR Center offers classes in adult literacy, basic computer skills and office software, and personal computer troubleshooting.

Westwood Heights Computer Center

The Westwood Heights Computer Center is a senior-friendly computer lab offering free use and training of computer technology. It features large print images and screens, as well as computers with a keyboard and mouse designed for use by those with limited dexterity. Structured training sessions are available.
