Voucher payment standards determine how much Seattle Housing Authority will pay for your rent and utilities.

Voucher payment standards include an amount for utilities. These amounts vary for different Voucher/unit sizes.

All changes in income or changes in household members must be reported in writing within 10 business days.

Income, family composition, and immigration status are typically reviewed once a year. Subsidized units are also inspected once a year.

After your initial lease term expires, you can use your housing voucher for a different unit. You can also move outside of Seattle.

Seattle Housing Authority will provide reasonable accessibility accommodations upon request.

There are a number of circumstances under which your Housing Choice Voucher assistance could be terminated.
