What is the SHA Portal

      Already registered? Log in. If you have not registered, please follow the instructions below.

The SHA Portal is a secure, convenient way for applicants, tenants (SHA residents and Housing Choice Voucher participants) and landlords to conduct business with the Seattle Housing Authority.

Applicants can use the SHA Portal to 

  • Apply for a chance to receive a Housing Choice Voucher
  • Update an existing application for SHA Housing*
  • Update contact information

New applicants, please visit Housing to learn about the different housing programs and different application processes.

Tenants can use the SHA Portal to 

  • Update contact information
  • Report changes to household or income
  • Submit recertification information 
  • Contact property manager or certification specialist
  • Submit maintenance requests (SHA residents only)   

Landlords can use the SHA Portal to

  • Update contact information
  • Manage property accounts
  • Access 1099s
  • Transact other business with SHA


How do I register?

Click the button below to go to the SHA Portal and select Applicant Login, Tenant Login or Landlord Login. On the following page, select Click here to register. If you need help with registration, see  detailed instructions. If you need additional assistance, please contact us. 

Applicants, please note that registering for a user account on the SHA Portal does not mean you have applied for a Housing Choice Voucher or SHA Housing. After registering, please follow additional instructions to complete and submit your application.

 

*If you are a current Housing Choice Voucher participant and have applied for SHA Housing and want to update your application, you must use Tenant Login when you enter the SHA Portal.
