The Contractor will be required to furnish and install, through self-performance or the management of Subcontractors one or more of, but not limited to the following elements of work:
1. Demo, as needed.
2. Main installation types:
a. Installation of a custom sized acrylic one-piece shower pan over the existing shower pan.
b. Installation of a custom formed one-piece acrylic shower wall system over the existing shower walls.
1) New tempered glass shower doors
c. Installation of a custom sized acrylic one-piece Tub and or tub surround over the existing tub / surround; or install new tub.
3. Installation of accessories:
a. Stainless steel grab bars:
1) A minimum of one grab bar to be installed in each unit, but more could be needed on a case-by-case basis.
b. Soap dish: To tie-in to existing floor drain and caulking.
c. Shower valves: Typically, shower valves will not need to be replaced.
1) If this is required, then SHA will review a submittal for the extra work of installation by the contractor. If approved, a Change Order will be issued to cover the additional cost of work.
4. Conversions:
a. Conversion from tub to shower.
b. Conversion of existing tub/shower to an ADA roll-in shower.
5. Repairs as needed but not limited to:
a. Wall repair for rot/mold in walls/flooring.
6. Finishing as needed but not limited to:
a. Exposed edges capped with extruded molding.
